About Samudrika Naval Marine Museum

The location is close to the capital city of Port Blair and is near Teal House, Haddo. One of the main tourist destinations in the Andaman Islands, it is separated into five divisions. The location offers the chance to learn about the eco system, plants, animals, and marine life of these green Isles while displaying the flora and wildlife of Andaman Island. Moreover, it exhibits items relating to Andaman tribes. The location also has an aquarium, which is a fun experience for both children and adults. The Indian Navy maintains the location, as the name would suggest. The location's entryway features a massive blue whale skeleton, which is one of its attractions.

How to reach?

The best way to get there is to take an auto rickshaw or a taxi or a rented 2-wheeler. One could also take advantage of special tourist buses known as Go-Go, which are provided by the local administration.

Timing

The place is open to the public from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm (Monday closed).

Entry Fee

A nominal fee of Rs. 50/- need to be paid which is worthy enough for the experience.
