The Kalapathar Beach, another gem of Havelock Island, received its name from the presence of coal-black boulders on the white sand shore. The distance from Jetty to the destination is 15 to 20 kilometres. It is advised to rent a two-wheeler or bring a bicycle if you are visiting on a sunny day so you don't miss the stunning scenery along the way. The ride to the beach cut across the coastline, with the sea on one side and thick green coconut trees on the other.
