About Fisheries Aquarium

It is close to the Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex. As implied by the name, the location primarily serves as an exhibit of Andaman aquatic life. In a small tank and preserved jar, it exhibits a variety of sea species, both alive and dead. It also exhibits a wide variety of coral and seashells. Children are drawn to the location because of its particular features, but adults may also enjoy themselves because it features colorful fish that are a feast for the eyes and fans of marine life. Other skeletons were those of a sperm whale, dolphin, sawfish, etc. Please remember that taking pictures is not allowed here, so don't bring your camera.

How to reach?

The best way to get there is to take an auto rickshaw or a taxi or a rented 2-wheeler. One could also take advantage of special tourist buses known as Go-Go, which are provided by the local administration.

Timing

The place is open to the public from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm (Monday closed).

Entry Fee

A nominal fee of Rs. 20/- need to be paid which is worthy enough for the experience.
