Corbyn's Cove beach is the closest beach to Port Blair city, which is located around 7 kilometers away. On the beach, swimming and sunbathing are recommended pastimes. The area also offers a range of adventurous water sports activities, including parasailing, speed boat excursions, and Jet Ski rides. Tickets related to all the water sports activities are available on the beach itself. At Rs. 10/-, beachgoers can use the showers and changing rooms. Moreover, the beach contains a café, a police help booth, and lifeguards. The beautiful sandy beach here extends over 1.5 kilometers, making it the perfect location for swimming. A section of the beach is designated for swimming, and another is designated for lounging and entertainment. Also, there are numerous wooden benches along the shore, which are great for taking in the sea breeze. Couples and children will like the floating jetty on the left side of the beach since it moves with the waves. Locals frequently take picnics at this location. The beach's ride side is lined with coconut trees, giving it the ideal location for a family picnic. In remembrance of the Second World War and the Japanese colonisation of the Andaman Islands, two outdated Japanese bunkers lie on the uncommon right of the beach. A small island with a lone tree standing in the midst of the sea could also be seen. The island, known as Snake Island, serves as a landmark for water sports providers. Please be aware that local water sports are seasonal and occasionally suspended due to inclement weather. Hence, if you intend to travel during a rainy or stormy season, please check the availability ahead of time. Moreover, including swimming, all water sports activities must be finished before 5:00 PM.
The best way to get there is to take an auto rickshaw or a taxi. One could also take advantage of special tourist buses known as Go-Go, which are provided by the local administration.
The beach is open to the public every day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (for water sports activities)
